After graduating from the University of Florida with a BSBA degree majoring in Finance, Cheri began her career with the Public Securities Association before leaving to join J.F. Hartfield, a brokers-broker. She left there to join Chemical Bank as a municipal bond trader and furthered her trading career at E.F. Hutton. In 1989 she joined Highlander Capital as a municipal bond trader prior to becoming a registered representative and then an investment advisor. She has been in the financial business for over 45 years an and has an extensive background in many areas of finance.

When not advising clients, she enjoys her family, travel and both playing and watching sports.
