Upon graduation from the University of Wyoming in 1969 with dual majors in finance and marketing, Bruce began his career at United Jersey Bancorp. He then joined Ryan, Beck & Co. where he spent 14 years as a registered representative, advising clients in a broad range of income and growth investments. After his tenure at Ryan, Beck, Bruce worked at Smith, Barney for 7 years prior to joining Highlander Capital Group where he provided his expertise in mutual funds as well as individual equity and fixed-income securities to his many clients, approximately 25 percent of whom are multi-generational. He will continue to enjoy providing that expertise as a portfolio manager at Carnegie Lake Advisors.

When he is not in front of his computer, Bruce enjoys reading non-fiction, hiking, travel, walking on the beach and spoiling his dog.
